A LAST WINTER

A Last Winter is written in the style of a classic musical, but with an electric orchestration featuring the soaring sounds of prog rock and power metal. In particular, this piece was directly influenced by the music of Ayreon, founded by the great Arjen Lucassen.

We wish to also thank legendary Broadway composer and producer Bobby Lopez, whose songwriting inspired the choice to use singable melodies instead of traditional metal vocals.

All aspects of the project including the script, music, lyrics, dialogue, sound design and foley design were created at our studios in Ashland and Charlottesville Virginia.
