Our Vision

Free Jambalaya is a production studio dedicated to the creation of new works. Since 2012, we've collaborated with artists from across the U.S. to create entirely original productions that range from live streams and podcasts to classic theatre and live music events.

Prioritizing new works, our studio serves as the production support for all original Free Jambalaya projects. The studio also offers a variety of professional services including audio engineering, video production, live streaming, web development, and also serves as a record label for some of Richmond's most popular artists.

The Free Jambalaya operation is a collaborative effort between various production studios throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Our headquarters in Ashland serves as the primary business location, while our sibling studios in Richmond, Charlottesville, Lynchburg and Roanoke work in tandem to connect clients with our experts and to provide a broad range of production services.

COMMUNITY
We proudly partner with Community 50/50 and other community organizations to offer creative outlets, mental health services and financial support to those in need.

EDUCATION
We work closely with Virginia State University, Randolph Macon College and other educational institutions to offer internships and opportunities for students to explore their creativity and experience the studio environment.
